Job Responsibilities
Support the plant Instrumentation & Electrical system preventative maintenance programs for all production equipment including equipment calibration. Assist plant operations, engineers and maintenance team members in tasks or troubleshooting involving equipment reliability and performance improvements.  Â
Â
Work with Production Engineering, Quality, and other related departments to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.Â
Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical and instrumentation equipment Â
Calibrate, test, inspect, operate, troubleshoot and maintain electronic devices (PLCs, transmitters, controllers etc.)Â Â
Diagnose and repair electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controlsÂ
Responsible for computer driven control system and related devicesÂ
Install, configure, and maintain variable frequency drives Â
Evaluate performance and reliability of prototype and actual equipment during operation production modelsÂ
Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and major equipment repairs (e.g., electrical and mechanical)Â
Assist in the design, engineering and procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems Â
Assist in writing JSA’sÂ
Follow safety procedures, rules and work in a safe mannerÂ
Perform other duties as assignedÂ

Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements Â
Â
Required Qualifications:Â
Technical School training or certificate preferred Â
Minimum of 5 years’ instrumentation and electrical experience requiredÂ
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70eÂ
Ability to use calibration, electrical, infrared, and ultrasonictesting equipmentÂ
Strong equipment / process technical knowledge ​
Experienced with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk) including ability to interpret function block, structured text, and ladder logic
Knowledge of Micro Motion Pro-Link Transmitter Configuration, Rockwell Automation Executive, and CCW (Connected Components Workbench). (Millington and Rock Hill locations only)Â Â Â
Knowledge of DeltaVDCS preferred in HubbellÂ
Knowledge of Factory Talk software including minor programing changes andRSLogix 5000Â
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, Excel, Word, OutlookÂ
Able to attend training classes to keep current and new technologiesÂ
Strong troubleshooting skillsÂ
Able to perform mathematical equations necessary for position's essential dutiesÂ
Must be able to work within a team group environment to perform maintenance taskÂ
Able to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logicÂ
Good communication skillsÂ
Chemical manufacturing industry experienceÂ
