Primary Purpose
Performs installations, maintenance and repair work on any computer-related equipment such as laptops, desktops, communications equipment (digital & IP phones), tablets (iPads), smart phones (iPhones), printers, local area networks and any piece of computer-related peripheral or software for end users. Responds to maintenance tickets. Provides high-level customer service to the end user.
Hours: 8am - 5pm, will be part of an on-call rotation.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations to resolve problems.
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems or appropriate software.
- Develop training materials and procedures or train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Qualifications
- Related On-the-Job (OJT) training/Vocational school or an Associate degree.
- 1 - 2 years’ relevant work experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Email Client.
- Basic understanding of PC and network hardware.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Â
