Job DetailsJob Location: Millville, NJ 08332Salary Range: $25.70 - $28.70 HourlyJob Purpose: - The Batch & Furnace Mechanic at ARC INTERNATIONAL GROUP is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of batch and furnace equipment within the manufacturing facility. This role is critical in maintaining production efficiency and ensuring the highest quality standards in glass manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on batch and furnace equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, making necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. - Train and mentor junior mechanics and technicians on best practices and safety procedures. - Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and longevity. - Participate in emergency repair activities and provide technical support during critical situations.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Vocational training or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in batch and furnace operations. - Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. - Experience working with glass manufacturing equipment is highly desirable.
