Job Purpose

Provide maintenance support to ensure safety of employees, equipment reliability, equipment uptime, and continous improvements. 

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Job Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure the safety of employees and equipment
  • Completion of scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Perform repairs on production and facility equipment
  • Completion of projects and tasks supporting continous plant improvements 
  • Monitor equipment
  • Analyze problems and proficiently solve them related to the plants needs
  • No supervisory responsibilities for this role.

 

Job Requirements

  • Employees are responsibile for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times. 
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, climb, kneel, or crouch. 
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasions.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of times. 
  • This position requires working in a plant/warehouse enviroment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the local language.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational Technical Education Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
  • Functional competence with systems and skills relating to:
    • Hydraulic
    • Pneumatics
    • HVAC
    • Low Voltage Electrical Systems and Controls
    • Mechanical Systems and Controls
    • Material Handling Equipment
    • General Construction
    • Pipefitting
    • Metal Fabrication including Welding, Cutting, and Assembly
