About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment within the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor will lead efforts to minimize downtime, optimize equipment performance, and support production goals through effective maintenance strategies. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., OSHA, PLC programming).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record of implementing predictive maintenance techniques and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Strong leadership training or experience in team development and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to production processes.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and support equipment upgrades or modifications.
