Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a "Electrical Engineer (Systems & Subsystems Design)" based out of Milpitas, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $85/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical components, modules, and subsystems for complex systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the design lifecycle, from requirements and feasibility to testing and manufacturing handoff, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical parts, modules, and subsystems
Perform circuit, timing, thermal, and electrical load analysis, including FPGA modeling
Develop schematics and detailed designs using tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, and FPGA platforms (Xilinx/Altera)
Lead prototype development, testing, system integration, and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Optical, Systems, Manufacturing)
Prepare technical documentation (design specs, test procedures, service manuals)
Manage suppliers to ensure design requirements and quality standards are met
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues across development phases

Qualifications:

Strong experience in electrical system design and analysis
Proficiency with EDA tools (OrCAD, PSpice) and FPGA development platforms
Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
