Job DetailsJob Location: Milipitas, CA 95035Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $92,929.95 - $136,661.69 SalaryJob Shift: Days  TITLE:                        FINANCIAL ANALYST FLSA STATUS:          EXEMPT REPORTS TO:          DIRECTOR, ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE   SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Accounting/Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for performing comprehensive financial analysis, which includes budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, variance analysis, and treasury.  The role involves preparing and presenting financial reports to management and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and supporting the General Ledger Accounting.  This position is located in Milpitas, California.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepares annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning Prepares monthly financial reports and variance analysis of actual versus budget/forecast Provides analysis and prepare presentations for the departments Provides monthly financial operating results, including variance explanations Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as needed to support decision-making Monitors all spending and report monthly, quarterly, and annual results to management Complies with SOX by ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and adhered to Assists in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.  Supports the review and audit process Handles the Treasury functions Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required  Performs other duties of a similar nature or level* QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance and/or equivalent relevant experience Three years of experience as Financial Analyst or in a similar role Hands’ on experience using Oracle or other similar financial accounting application Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis tools Knowledge of and ability to comply with GAAP and IFRS Knowledge of and ability to comply with SOX requirements and controls Knowledge of and ability to comply with established safety procedures  Knowledge of general ledger accounting processes and procedures Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, presentations, and Word documents Skilled at analyzing data and creating reports or charts Skilled at taking initiative to improve processes or practices  Able to work effectively with all levels of management and employees Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and management Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals, teams, and departments Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure timely completion  Demonstrated time management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Demonstrated ability to trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills  Flexible and able to prioritize work WORKING CONDITIONS: Financial Analyst works primarily in an office environment from Monday thru Friday.  The schedule maybe altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Spends a majority of time in a seated position, but occasionally stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment.  May occasionally be required to push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds. The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $92,929.95-$136,661.69 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
