About the Role

  • We are looking for a Full Time Imaging Supervisor to join our team. The Imaging Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Xray and MRI team including Techs, Tech Aides, and MRI Schedulers across multiple GSOS facilities. This role ensures workflow efficiency, manages staff performance and scheduling, handles referral authorizations, and fosters teamwork to support high-quality patient care. Additionally, the supervisor collaborates with leadership and other departments to streamline processes, contribute to policy development, and attend meetings across GSOS locations.

What You'll Do

  • Overseeing daily operations of MRI and X-ray
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring staff to ensure adherence to standard work, quality, safety, and compliance standards
  • Creating and managing staff schedules to maintain appropriate coverage and efficient workflow coordination
  • Performing PACS administration tasks such as creating user accounts, correcting discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, and working with vendors to resolve system problems
  • Providing basic hardware support for PACS workstations and related equipment
  • Preparing and analyzing routine and customized reports from EMR system and PACS to support operational and performance decisions
  • Handling referral authorizations and coordinating with providers and staff to ensure smooth and timely patient scheduling
  • Performing x-rays with proper technique and physician protocols while proper measures to assure patient safety during x-rays
  • Performing specific QA on x-ray machinery
  • Collaborating with other members of Imaging leadership, Clinic Management, and Physicians to improve workflows and optimize patient flow
  • Participating in departmental meetings, policy development, and budget planning to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Promoting teamwork, accountability, and effective communication across the Imaging Department and other departments
  • Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

License Requirements:

  • Current CRT/XT License
  • Current MRI certification or ARRT

Experience:

  • 2 years' experience as a licensed Tech
  • 1+ years' experience leading or supervising imaging staff
