We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,900 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 is open Thursday (dinner from 3-8pm) and Friday - Sunday (lunch and dinner from 12pm-8pm). Located on a charming historic patio surrounded by 100 year old trees, 107 offers a unique outdoor dining experience focusing on small shareable plates.

What the Bistro 107 Line Cook does! 

As a Line Cook, you’ll execute a tapas style (small plate) menu based on the design of the Executive Chef. Working in our mobile food facility within Bistro 107 at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include: 

  • Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, small plates, appetizers and desserts 
  • Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
  • Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas 
  • Working efficiently in a face-paced environment

Requirements

  • 2+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
  • ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
  • Safe knife skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication
  • Ability to read and understand recipes 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Must be available 2 days/week between Thursday - Sunday
  • Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift 
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Handles sharp and hot tools regularly
  • Frequently utilizes cleaning chemicals
  • Drive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
