Description
Duties:Â
• Perform all administrative and direct patient care tasks in a clinical setting to patients at check out.Â
• Obtain Lab/test results from outside as well as sending standing orders to designated labsÂ
• Processing prior authorizations for various tests MD ordersÂ
• Contacting insurance companies to file appeals or obtain verbal authorizations for urgent treatmentÂ
• Working closely with providers to coordinate patient care needsÂ
• Providing patients with referrals for continuing careÂ
• Educate patients about medical processes and procedureÂ
Requirements
Qualifications:
(PREFERABLY BILINGUAL - ENGLISH/VIETNAMESE)Â
• Electronic Medical Records programs,(EPIC Preferred)Â
• Customer Service ExperienceÂ
• Multiple Phone Lines/Experience in a fast paced work environmentÂ
• Medical Terminology, OSHA and HIPAA trainingÂ
• Experience with Medicare, HMO and PPO insurance payersÂ
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills requiredÂ
• Proven problem solving, analytical and decision making skillsÂ
