Job Description Summary:
Demonstrates project management best practices, contributes to improving the product development process and responsible for launching new products. Leads project planning process capturing milestones, risk register, user stories, and work breakdown structure. Engages in prototypes and pilots builds in order to establish processes and assembly documentation. Leads/manages the ECM process to release instrument BOM in SAP with collaboration from R&D, Project Control Analyst, Doc Services, Supply Chain, Master Data and NPI Engineering. Leads the BOM structuring to enable manufacturing of subassemblies and entire instrument process in collaboration with production planning, R&D and NPI Engineering. Leads cross-functional teams through identifying program risks and forming mitigations to support a timely delivery of program milestones. Works to enable a traceable configuration management process between R&D, Operations, Purchasing, and data coordinator prior to full implementation of SAP. Represents NPI in materials procurement meetings to resolve issues with POs, predirects ordering, revs and SAP transactions. Hands on with SAP, excel, BOM structuring in SAP, staging and developing manufacturing lines. Works with sourcing to ensure costs are appropriately updated to enable material acquisition and cost models. Reviewing and comparing OMS with respect to BOM.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Management (any), Business (any) or related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Management (any), Business (any) or related field of study and four (4) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Management (any), Business (any) or related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: SAP modules: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Ariba; leading full-cycle implementation and launch of supply-chain ERP platforms and enterprise supply-chain solution; Working with R&D, enabling a configuration management process for monitoring and communicating configuration or design changes prior to full implementation of SAP;  workflow development and testing for production order creation, material tracking and build planning; BOM management, product structure and configuration release; supply chain management, inventory planning and supply planning; Excel macros and pivot tables; and SQL, MS Access, MS Project and Minitab.
Salary offered for the position is: $155,697.21 - $215,200.00/year.
