Job DetailsJob Location: Milipitas, CA 95035Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $21.00 - $31.00 HourlyJob Shift: C Shift: F-Sun e/o Th 6:00 AM-6:00 PMTITLE:                       PRODUCTION TRAINING COORDINATOR FLSA STATUS:         NON-EXEMPT D SHIFT:                   FRIDAY TO SUNDAY EVERY OTHER THURSDAY 6:00 PM-6:00 AM REPORTS TO:          PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Production Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of manufacturing production training engineers, technicians, and operators; including maintaining training records, auditing both training and quality programs, facilitating cleanroom and wafer handling training sessions, auditing fab particle count and pressure readings in order to maintain standards for production area cleanliness, creating, editing, and updating training materials and documentation, and maintaining and updating the TEDS (LMS Systems) as needed.  This position is located in Milpitas, California. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates all manufacturing and production training for engineers, technicians, and operators for both new hires and existing employees Creates, updates, and maintains all training documentation such as presentation materials and job aids to facilitate knowledge transfer Maintains and audits all training records for both cleanroom training and quality programs Audits and measures pressure and particle count as scheduled to ensure production area cleanliness meets established standards Maintains and updates the in-house learning management system (TEDS) to ensure all training records and certifications remain up to date for manufacturing and production employees Monitors and tracks scrap and quality issues and assigns them to the appropriate shift for resolution; assists with documenting findings, actions items, and ensures issues are driven to closure Conducts training with production floor personnel to ensure that process changes (CCN’s/TDA’s) are understood and implemented appropriately and on a timely basis Responds to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departments Overtime may be required contingent on business needs Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required Performs other duties of a similar nature or level* QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School or General Education Diploma (GED) required Two years of experience working as a Trainer or Training Administrator in a semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment or similar industry Experience using a learning management system such as TEDS or other software application Experience using a wafer tracking or production software application such as MESA or Workstream Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and ability to facilitate various types of production, manufacturing, and quality training programs for new hires and employees of various skill levels Knowledge and ability to create training documentation, materials, and job aids to assist in the facilitation of knowledge transfer Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and management Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures Able to audit and measure particle count and pressure in order to ensure production area cleanliness meets standards Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Demonstrated critical thinking skills Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills Flexible and able to prioritize The hourly rate for this full-time position is between $21.00-31.00 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The hourly pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically. WORKING CONDITIONS: The Production Training Coordinator works a rotating schedule D shift.  The Production Training Coordinator works in both office and wafer manufacturing environments.  The Production Training Coordinator is required to spend approximately 50-75% of their time in the wafer manufacturing facility. Coordinators are required to enter the class 100 ESD sensitive wafer fab manufacturing facility as needed to perform audits and conduct training programs; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask when entering the manufacturing facility.  Schedule may be altered from time-to-time to suit operational needs. Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, or pressure/particle count machine, operates a telephone, other office equipment, and pressure reading tool.  Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in order to perform particle and pressure readings in all areas of the production facility. May be required to push, pull, or lift up to 30 pounds. *Other duties of a similar nature or level are duties that may be required, but may not be specifically listed in the job description or posting.
