Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for an Associate Test Engineer 2 (Shift 2).

Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Rate: $37.40 - $39.60/hr on W2

Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K

Schedule:

• Day Shift Training Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Post-Training Shift: 4 PM - 2:30 AM (with a 30-minute lunch break)

• Overtime: Opportunities to work overtime during regular shifts; weekends are optional.

Responsibilities:

  •  Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
  •  Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
  •  Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair
  •  Ability to work in a clean room environment is required.
  •  Experience with systems development and testing, including formulating system level requirements, test specifications and test results.
  •  Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes and DVM analysis tools and equipment is preferred.
  •  Use and manipulate a variety of fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches and calipers.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
