Job Description:

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Milton, WA | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join us in Milton, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. As a women- and therapist-founded company, we are committed to supporting school-based clinicians with the resources and guidance they need to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Position Highlights

  • Location: Milton, WA
  • Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
  • School Year: September 2, 2026 – June 17, 2027
  • Setting: In-person, school-based
  • Caseload: Approximately 30 students

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
  • Support Tier 1 classroom strategies and consult with staff to promote student success
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and assistive technology as appropriate
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license, or willingness to obtain one prior to the start of employment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Professional references are required, as the district will complete reference checks prior to hire
