Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join us in Milton, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Highlights

Location: Milton, WA
Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
School Year: September 2, 2026 – June 17, 2027
Setting: In-person, school-based
Caseload: Approximately 30 students

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
Support Tier 1 classroom strategies and consult with staff to promote student success
Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and assistive technology as appropriate
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Qualifications

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license, or willingness to obtain one prior to the start of employment
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Professional references are required, as the district will complete reference checks prior to hire
