Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Keeps maintenance records up to date
Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trailers, heavy equipment, and related machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various trailer components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, to repair or modify trailers and equipment as needed
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Assist in the assembly of new trailers or equipment upgrades while adhering to quality control procedures

Qualifications

1 year experience maintaining heavy industrial or automotive equipment showing mechanical skills and knowledge
A proven track record of punctuality and dependability, and the ability to work independently
Hands on experience with trailers or farm equipment
Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and mechanical drawings, wiring, and control diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service awareness to ensure client satisfaction during repairs or consultations
Physical ability for heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and working in various environmental conditions; commitment to safety protocols at all times
