This Opportunity:

• Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities
• Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of project delivery
• Prepare comprehensive construction plans and specifications while actively contributing to project estimation and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Partner with clients, planners and engineers to define project scopes, develop task hour budgets, create schedules, prepare fee proposals, and lead federal and state grant application and management efforts
• Stay at the forefront of industry excellence by mastering the latest airport design standards and innovative procedures
• Create and foster an empowered team environment by embracing individual accountability and contributing collaboratively to shared success
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the state of Wisconsin

Essential Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and technical acumen
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within six months of hire date
• Proven success managing airport design and construction projects and leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
• Proven experience in proposal writing and client management with demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals
