Looking for a role in the most unique hotel in the beautiful city of Milwaukee? Are you someone who loves to be on your feet, staying active the entire day? If so, a Banquet Set-Up role is for you. The hotel’s banquet space has a clean and contemporary atmosphere. To maintain that ambiance, you will be tasked with setting up tables and chairs, cleaning and vacuuming the carpets and adding that final touch to make sure the space is ready for when guests arrive.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1. Maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet facilities by cleaning, vacuuming, and shampooing

carpet.

2. Set-up banquet spaces as required per contract.ie tables chairs and linen

3. Provide service to customers as required per contract.

4. Perform breakdown of function rooms.

5. Assist in serving as necessary.

6. Read and understand a Banquet Event Order (BEO).

7. Organize, control and restock linen room and supplies.

8. Organize and control inventory and storage.

9. Ensure clean work environment.

10. Execute and maintain coffee service

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. Prior hospitality experience preferred.

2. Must have a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

3. Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.

4. Basic knowledge of English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.

5. Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
