Position Overview
The Admissions Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining occupancy within Assisted Living and Memory Care while supporting campus-wide marketing and admissions initiatives. This individual serves as a trusted resource for prospects and families, guiding them through the senior living decision-making process from initial inquiry through move-in.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Sales
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents and families.
- Conduct personalized tours showcasing the benefits, services, amenities, and lifestyle offered at St. Camillus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through regular follow-up and engagement.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track interactions and nurture leads.
- Clearly explain contracts, pricing, meal programs, and the continuum of care available at St. Camillus.
Resident Admissions & Occupancy
- Support efforts to achieve and maintain full occupancy in Assisted Living and Memory care.
- Manage apartment waitlists and assist with apartment transfers.
- Coordinate move-ins with residents, families, and internal departments.
- Address current resident questions and concerns related to housing and occupancy.
- Assist prospects and families in understanding expansion plans and future opportunities at St. Camillus.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Support marketing initiatives including seminars, open houses, educational events, senior fairs, and informational luncheons.
- Represent St. Camillus at community events and professional networking opportunities.
- Participate in outreach activities that promote the St. Camillus mission and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve departmental goals and occupancy targets.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership, admissions, and resident services teams.
- Participate in staff meetings and organizational initiatives.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in admissions, sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology systems.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in senior living, healthcare admissions, hospitality, or relationship-based sales.
- Experience working with older adults and their families.
