Day to day as aN Assistant Branch Manager

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you'll be the captain of customer service! You'll take charge of our Customer Service Representative (CSR) functions, providing coaching and supervision to ensure our customers experience nothing short of stellar service every time. You'll collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to empower and develop our branch team, focusing on retail sales, operations, and top-notch customer service that meets-and exceeds!-established goals.

To thrive as an Assistant Branch Manager, you'll need a blend of skills and experience that spark joy in both our team and customers! A high school diploma (or equivalent) is essential, along with 4+ years of retail banking and sales experience-bonus points for previous management experience! Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will help you develop strong relationships, while your sales and service orientation will shine as you lead our team to success.

Additionally, problem-solving abilities, organizational prowess, and a knack for prioritizing tasks are crucial in our fast-paced environment. You'll demonstrate follow-through with staff training, identifying any learning gaps and providing necessary support. Good math and computer skills are a must, along with demonstrated leadership skills that inspire teamwork.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of retail banking experience and sales experience.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong sales and service orientation.
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Demonstrate follow-thru and follow up and organizational skills.
  • Ability to impart knowledge of tasks to be performed to staff.
  • Proficient math and computer skills such as with MS Office.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work within a group setting.
