Casting Inspector/ Auditor

The Final Audit will safely and efficiently inspect castings per customer standards prior to sending them to customer.

What You'll Do:

• Accurately identify casting defects to determine if part is acceptable to be shipped
• Correctly fix any defects to ensure compliance with standard
• Accurately use all tools, gauges and instruments
• Perform all job functions as outlined in the Functional Job Analysis
• Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
• Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

What We Need from You:

• High School diploma or GED; experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must wear protective safety equipment including goggles, face shield and special gloves, when necessary(steel toed shoes with metatarsal guard, safety eyewear, hearing protection)

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Works with dust, heat, noise and fumes of foundry. Must be able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Must be able to use small hand tools including vibratory tools, grinders, sanders and saws.
