Position: Driver Recruiter

Location: 8501 W Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee WI

Pay: Salary, FLSA Exempt, Bonus Eligible

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week, business hours

General Position Overview:

Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry. Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution, and cross-docking services.  We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value-Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting, and fulfillment needs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Driver Recruiter to join our team. The Driver Recruiter plays a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding candidates while supporting our transportation recruitment strategies across various functions.

General Responsibilities include:  

• Work closely with the Operations, Safety and HR teams to understand staffing needs.
• Create and utilize various recruitment strategies, including job boards and social media.
• Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide feedback to candidate, post-interview.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork and training is completed efficiently.
• Stay informed about DOT regulations and industry standards. Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal and state laws.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate sources.
• Be a subject matter expert for candidates on all things related to driving positions at Midwest Refrigerated Services.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while meeting recruitment goals.

Prerequisites:

• Proven experience in recruiting, within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred.
