Multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Department Manager to their Milwaukee team!

Responsibilities:

Manage Construction Services Department
Work directly with clients and contractors
Assist with project design
Manage staff and their assignments
Mentor/train junior staff
Serve as project manager on complex projects
Prepare proposals/contracts
Monitor progress schedule/shop drawing log
Review pay requests and verify work is completed
Travel to job sites as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering
12+ years of experience in construction or municipal engineering
PE License preferred
Experience in construction management of municipal/public improvement projects (water mains, wastewater mains, and roadways)
Experience in interpreting plans, specifications, technical procedures and governmental regulations

Salary is commensurate with experience.
