SHIFT
 1st Shift, 5 Day Work Week:
Base schedule of:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Some outside hours or overtime may be required.

Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the organization’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, functional, and compliant environment for employees, visitors, and operations through preventative maintenance and timely response to service requests.
Job Requirements:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose and repair minor to moderate facility issues (doors, flooring, walls, fixtures, appliances, etc.)
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain grounds and exterior areas, including snow removal, landscaping, and parking areas as needed
- Coordinate with and escort external contractors and vendors when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with local codes, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Assist with facility setup for events, office moves, or renovations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
- Ability to read work orders, maintenance manuals, and safety instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel as needed to out bases or as needed for fleet maintenance of company owned vehicles and equipment
- Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or skilled trades
- Experience in a commercial, industrial, healthcare, or manufacturing environment
- EPA, HVAC, or other trade-related certifications
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer service skills with a team player mindset
- Basic computer skills (email, work order systems)
