Floor Care Technician

Job DetailsJob Location: JHCC-SNF - MILWAUKEE, WI 53202Job Shift: PM - 2ndPosition Summary: Cleaning and maintaining of walking surfaces, including but not limited to carpets of all types, vinyl floors, ceramic and other type tiles and surfaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Works alone or with other staff as needed Answers all radio calls promptly related to floor maintenance. Maintain and clean all floors as scheduled. Maintain all floor care equipment in as new condition. Learn and understand how equipment works. Learn and understand manufacturer recommendations for cleaning and maintaining floors. Learn and understand how to maintain different types of floors (IE stripping, waxing, scrubbing, extracting, and polishing.) Reports to Manager any problems with floors, equipment, procedures etc. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: Prior experience in commercial floor care is essential.
