You will work to enhance the parenting skills of individuals and groups, ensuring the well-being and healthy development of children within the community. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver parenting programs and workshops tailored to the needs of diverse families. - Provide one-on-one consultations with parents to address specific parenting concerns and challenges. - Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and educators, to create comprehensive support plans for families. - Conduct assessments to identify the strengths and needs of families and develop individualized support strategies. - Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in parenting and child development. - Facilitate support groups for parents to share experiences and strategies in a safe and supportive environment. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress. - Advocate for the needs of families within the community and work to connect them with additional resources and services. - Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of parenting support.QualificationsRequired Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a social services setting - Experience in providing support and guidance to parents and families - Proven track record of developing and implementing parenting programs or workshops Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations - Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving - Proficient in using technology for data management and communication - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations
