Job DetailsJob Location: JHCC-SNF - MILWAUKEE, WI 53202Job Shift: AM - 1stJob Purpose: - The Plant Ops Technician Level II at Ovation Communities is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff by overseeing the functionality of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal operation. - Collaborate with other team members to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules to enhance operational efficiency. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. - Provide support during facility upgrades and renovations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Respond to emergency maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution. - Communicate effectively with residents and staff to address maintenance concerns and provide updates on repair status.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in a related field is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant operations or a similar technical role. - Proven track record of maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues efficiently. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with complex machinery and systems. - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and management. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols and procedures. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by the operational needs.
