Job Description: The Senior Product Manager at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to gather requirements to ensure quality, value and feature integrity. Responsible for technical product vision and appropriate positioning with key stakeholders across the organization. Foster development, acceptance, and communication of roadmaps. Define and track KPIs for success measurement. Participate in cross functional work to solicit key requirements relative to accountable product. Responsible for multiple low to medium complexity technical products and product features from start to finish. Maintain awareness and ability to articulate product story to a broader audience outside internal team. Partner with design to ensure cohesive future state user visions and experiences that are aligned with a quarterly vision with an understanding of total design process. Utilize experience with agile methodologies including Atlassian JIRA, SQL, Wireframing, and Continuous Improvement. Translate requirements to technical details to build and validate use cases and user stories around a product and communicate them effectively. Inform product decisions with both qualitative and quantitative data on behavior and experimentation. Develop and maintain multiple prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation according to business value or ROI. Facilitate daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Telecommuting permitted. Salary $104,090- $222,300 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience as a product manager or in a related occupation. Experience must include at least 4 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Agile Methodologies including Atlassian JIRA; (2) Structured Query Language (SQL) including Wireframing; (3) Continuous Improvement (CI); (4) Backlog Management; and (5) Daily Scrum and Data Analysis.
