Pay Rate: Starting at $45 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Full-Time | In-Person
Description:
Birch Agency is seeking a qualified and passionate Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support students near Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time, in-person position during regular school hours.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Valid Wisconsin Educator License (required)
Experience working with mild/moderate special education populations preferred
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
