The Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A will be a key partner to the Corporate Executive Team in support of Manitowoc Company Inc.'s month-end and planning (budget and forecasting) processes, including internal segment review, support of materials for the Board of Directors and Investor Relations, as well as critical financial analysis (both historical ad forward looking) to support strategic decision making.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various internal month-end reporting packages, including coordination with segment finance leaders, for executive review and discussion
- Support consolidated presentations of results and estimates for the Board of Directors through significant coordination with global teams and partnering with CEO, CFO, and Corporate Staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
- Team with Investor Relations in supporting the quarterly earnings call, executive investor presentations, Q&A support, and various ad hoc analyses
- Support implementation of digital finance transformation initiatives, including implementation of additional EPM Planning, Narrative Reporting, and Dashboarding solutions. Utilize additional tools, including AI, and collaborate with the global business units to drive further efficiency.
- Support the coordination, consolidation, and analysis of the annual global strategic plan and budgeting processes, as well as the quarterly forecasts, including initiatives to continuously improve accuracy and efficiency across the company
- Monitor order intake, backlog and preparation of the weekly report related to orders and backlog
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision making
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 4-6 years of experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required, Alteryx desirable.
- Previous consolidation system use (HFM/EPM) required; exposure to system transition/solution implementation desirable.
- Previous FP&A experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with rigorous attention to detail essential.
