In the role of a Sr. Logistics Analyst, you are responsible for supporting development, implementation, and driving Millercoors transportation strategy and execution which consists of taking accountability for the integration and alignment with customer service, breweries, distribution centers, transportation providers, quality, and distributors; to ensure coordination to deliver superior service in executing daily/weekly/monthly shipment volume across the network. You will also assist in development and management of domestic and international carrier network to deliver superior service to distributors in the US, international customers, big domestic breweries, craft / micro-breweries, import supply breweries, distribution centers and major suppliers. You will assist in providing management, strategic and tactical direction for 3rd Party Logistics providers for transportation planning and execution across the network.  You are accountable for development of standard operating procedures for all internal and external partners across the network and Supply Chain and you will monitor / council domestic and international carrier network to deliver superior service. You will also provide input on Strategic Direction of the Logistics and Transportation group, and ongoing Continuous Improvement.

 

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Cost effective execution of the transportation and logistics function is paramount to the success of the overall supply chain and distributor service model while maintaining highest service and quality levels.
    • Assist in managing $600,000,000 in freight spend for domestic and international transportation (Ocean) thru analytics and recommendations to Logistics management that result in the development of programs and initiatives reducing cost, improving freshness, improving order fulfillment, and increasing overall customer satisfaction
    • Integral position in delivering against CSC’s $200MM synergy savings target
    • Provide analysis in supporting monthly functional and supplier performance measurements and utilize results to manage suppliers
    • Key support in the development, analysis, and carrier maintenance to insure deliverance against transportation budgets. 
    • Provide support in the planning & implementation for one common TMS solution to integrate with future state distributor ordering tool and SAP integration
  • The position is responsible for developing & managing network of both strategic & tactical carriers including the following
    • Direct liaison and support to Operations team accountable for developing a multi-indirect management of a third-party service provider
    • -modal network including Over the Road, Dedicated fleets, services, 3rd Party Logistics providers, etc. to deliver the Integrated Supply Chain’s annual plan to service
    • Provide leadership & direction during annual planning process directly related to insuring accuracy and integrity of TMS processes and system
    • Responsible Standard operating procedures for shipment management across the network to mitigate enterprise deficits
    • Accountable for working closely with Regional Transportation Managers, key Quality personnel, and Brewery representatives to ensure that MillerCoors has a competitively advantaged carrier network
    • Direct liaison and point of contact for carrier partners with accountability for providing policy requirements. This includes action on their behalf and communication
  • Drives value creation for stakeholder groups on initiatives/issues touching the carriers where feedback and/or the carrier point of view needs to be represented 
     

Key Ingredients:

  • 5+ year’s transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business.
  • Expert knowledge & full understanding of key economic drivers in truck, rail & third-party suppliers this includes, fuel, base rates, service bundles & pertinent legal & government requirements.  Complete understanding of the interdependencies within the integrated supply chain.
  • Organizational & leadership skill to lead multi-divisional activities, analyze large volumes of information, evaluate & resolve complex issues in rapidly changing environment.

  • Proven track record in supplier relationship management
  • Good understanding of the interdependencies within the integrated supply chain.
  • Ability to identify and understand the financial levers that drive MillerCoors, distributors, and carriers to maximize volume and ROI.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $83,200.00 - $109,200.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
