Job Summary
This role is responsible for executing operational strategies related to Vehicle Logistics. The role will manage 3rd party logistic supplier relationships for vehicle distribution in the US and Canada. The Senior Analyst Logistics also collaborates with peers to identify and implement continuous improvement projects shaping the vehicle logistics processes and systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Senior Logistics Analyst role is responsible for executing operational strategies for dealer-facing logistics. This role will ensure the successful inbounding, final processing, storage, transportation, and delivery of vehicles for dealers.
- This role will also proactively lead continuous improvement efforts to improve logistics processes and partnerships and collaborate extensively with similar functions in other markets across the globe.
- Engage with and be the first point of escalation for lead third party logistics (3PL) partners and the field sales organization.
- Participate in contractual conversations with 3PL partners.
- Collaborate with peer(s) across other regions and markets to share best practices and form a global community for consistency and improvement
- Report and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a manner that is consistent across the company.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and implement distribution network design improvements to meet current and future sales channel requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Order Management and Allocation to ensure agreed upon service levels are being met and issues are being resolved in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot issues preventing the timely shipment of vehicles to dealers by querying and analyzing data in SAP and 3PL information systems.
- Ensure on-time processing of 3PL invoices and rent payments for distribution centers.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Demonstrated success coordinating and supporting multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, prioritizing, and status communication
- Sound capability of developing data-driven solution recommendations
- Truckload Freight Carrier management experience including competitive bidding, negotiations, and contract execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred
- SAP ECC experience
- Experience with data analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
- Track record of improving 3PL relationships and performance
The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
