A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years in business is looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for their Milwaukee office! This is a hybrid position that includes in office work three days a week and remote work two days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead design engineer for a variety of multi-disciplined, complex public/private water and wastewater projects
- Coach/mentor junior staff
- Project manager duties including evaluating scope/scheduling requirements, coordinate planning strategies, and provide quality assurance and quality control
- Develop a strategic market development plan
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Look for business development opportunities
- Actively participate in professional associations
- Represent company at trade shows/conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of progressive technical design experience
- 4+ years of experience managing public/private water and/or wastewater treatment infrastructure and facility projects
- PE License
- Business development experience
- Experience developing detailed plans/specifications for construction
- Previous client and project management experience
- Experience mentoring/training team of engineering professionals
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time for meetings/site visits
- Working knowledge of ArcMap, SWWM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD and/or Revit preferred
- Experience leading/managing multi-discipline design projects with engineering fees in excess of $1.0 million
Salary is commensurate with experience.
