BASIC FUNCTION
The Senior Supplier Quality Manager will lead the supplier quality program for North America Power Systems, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence across all suppliers to the Mosel site. This role safeguards production continuity by implementing robust quality systems that prevent disruptions caused by supplier-related issues, supports new product development, and fosters supplier partnerships and supplier development to achieve world-class supplier performance. The position will have regional responsibility for North America and also have a leadership role in supplier development for strategic Power Systems suppliers globally.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Supplier Quality team, enabling continuous technical and career development.
·        Develop and implement regional supplier quality roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.
·        Identify suppliers in need of quality system and performance improvement and lead supplier development activity.
·        Lead escalations and crisis management for critical suppliers impacting North American operations.
·        Champion digital quality tools and analytics for proactive supplier performance management.
·        Ensure quality plans at suppliers are adequate to support business growth and key strategic initiatives.
·        Work cross-functionally to ensure supplier quality activity is applied for new product development, including supplier qualification, sourcing decisions, print reviews, and PPAP.
·        Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance to senior leadership.
·        Act as a key advisor to Procurement and Operations leadership on supplier quality risks and opportunities.
·        Work as part of a global leadership team to develop and improve the global supplier quality program.

Supervisory Relationships:
Reports to Director, Supplier Quality
Supervises Supplier Quality Engineers
Organizational Relationships:
·        Frequent contact with Purchasing and Global Procurement.
·        Frequent contact with Quality personnel and New Product Development teams.
·        Frequent contact with Current Product Engineering and manufacturing operations.
·        Collaboration with leadership teams across North America and global forums.
External Business Relationships:
Frequent contact with suppliers, including travel to visit supplier locations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
·        8+ years of progressive experience in supplier quality management, including leadership roles.
·        Proven track record in global supplier development and quality systems implementation.
·        Expertise in advanced problem-solving, risk management, and strategic planning.
·        Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to influence at executive levels.
·        Global supplier audit experience and familiarity with multiple manufacturing technologies.
·        Functional knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes and material science.
·        Accomplished change agent with strong business aptitude and analytical skills.

·        This position is expected to be on site 2-3 days per week in the Mosel factory or Glendale office.Â
·        Travel up to 50%
