About the Role

As a Cook, you'll work in the production kitchen making pizzas for our restaurant store front! You'll assemble pizzas with semi-automated equipment like a dough press and conveyor oven, working closely with the front of house staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for the front window, pick-ups, and dine-in orders. There will be some fresh veggie prep and light prep. We have a high standard for cleanliness and quality, so you'll need to follow instructions and protocols carefully.

You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you'll pitch in where needed to keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly.

This is a high-volume kitchen - be ready to do things like top pizzas for hours! The team will support you, and we'll have fun along the way, pinky promise.

Job Requirements

Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other industrial kitchen equipment.
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
Must be 18+ years old to apply.
Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Experience is not required, but if you have worked in pizza kitchens that use conveyor ovens or large-scale catering kitchens or bakeries, we'd love to hear from you!

Scheduling

Flexible schedules! We'll work with you to find a schedule that works for everyone.

The restaurant will be open from 11am-8pm Tuesday-Sunday, but the shifts for this position are exclusively weekends and some evenings. Ideal cook candidates will have flexible and open availability Tuesday-Friday from 4pm-9/10pm and Saturdays-Sundays from 10am-9/10pm.

Part-time hours are available. If looking for full-time hours, cross-training in other roles is an option!
