About The Position

Another locum job has arrived! Our client is looking for a physician specializing in family practice to begin coverage in Wisconsin. This opportunity spans 248 days with potential for extension. Hours include 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts from Mondays - Fridays. The selected locum will provide comprehensive care to both civilian and military patients, handling a diverse range of medical complexities including cardiovascular, GI, pulmonary, orthopedic, and surgical cases. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, and initiating appropriate medical treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population 

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations 

• Diagnose and initiate appropriate medical treatments 

• Manage complex medical cases including cardiovascular, GI, pulmonary, orthopedic, and surgical patients 

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team 

• Facilitate treatment plans and transitions of care

• Adhere to VA Clinic protocols and standards of care
