IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Management Office Analyst (PMO) in the following offices:

  • Rolling Meadows, IL
  • Naperville, IL
  • Milwaukee, WI

The Senior PMO Analyst is responsible for the processes, procedures, governance, tools and support necessary to enable project management. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains project and resource data in project management tools and works with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Generates reports as needed.
  • Develops and maintains training materials.
  • Leads in the deliverable creation of medium-to-large business process requests. Initiates the integration of new technologies or solutions.                            
  • Collaborates with business and IT to define and document issues and gather feedback to develop PMO and IT processes.
  • Helps conduct simplification processes and prepare manuals to improve operational efficiency.
  • Researches best practices, industry standards, or technology to support process development and enhancement.
  • Acts as an advocate of the processes and procedures, being available to assist others as they use the information developed.
  • Provides feedback to the process owner on improvement opportunities and quality issues.
  • Develops and maintains documentation including process description/flow, templates, and job aids.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Requires 3-5 years PMO Administrator or PMO Coordinator experience
  • Knowledge of project management tools
  • Knowledge of product management principles involved with project planning, resource allocation and budgeting
  • Working knowledge of Power BI
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Workday projects and time tracking experience preferred
