Position Summary:

Provides clinical consultation to Medical Social Workers to support behavioral health and psychosocial assessments of patients with mental and behavioral health needs in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Clinically supports Medical Social Workers as they develop safety plans that empower the patients/families to utilize external resources necessary to ensure mental health support and medical care to achieve optimal psychosocial functioning. Accountable for the planning and implementation of orientation and clinical education for staff in collaboration with social work leadership to ensure appropriate awareness of mental health care for children and families.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work or related field, plus 3000 hours post Master's experience or PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program.
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) required.
• Clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and chronic health conditions required.
• Experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
• Certification and/or experience in one or more evidence-based/informed therapeutic practices preferred.
