Lead Business Analyst

Duties:

• Maintains effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;
• Provides regular updates on project progress, gathers feedback, and manages expectations to ensure successful project outcomes;
• Participates in the testing and validation of new applications to ensure they meet the documented requirements and are free of defects. Works with developers to resolve any issues and make necessary adjustments;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of application development methodologies and;
• Stays updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the team’s practices remain cutting-edge.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools;
• Software development methodologies and lifecycles;
• Microsoft Office Suite and;
• Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Proven track record of identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing strategies to resolve issues efficiently;
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and reporting;
• Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency of department in accordance with company policies and procedures;
• Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills;
• Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills;
• Initiative-taking, strategic, and meticulous approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness;

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field;
• 7 years of experience in a Fund Accounting or Transfer Agency role within the financial services industry and;
• Experience with report creation and data analysis.
