Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is currently seeking an Inter-Unit Project Manager based onsite at our Fibrebond manufacturing facility in Minden, LA.Â
In this role, you will provide strategic operational oversight for procurement activities and inter-unit equipment management within a manufacturing and project-based environment. This position will own the inter-unit purchase function of the business from start to finish. The role owns internal and multi-product line relationships, pricing strategy, material availability, and escalation management to ensure project schedules, cost targets, and customer expectations are met. The position partners closely with Technical Sales, Project Management, and Production to drive performance, reduce risk, and continuously improve supply chain and equipment coordination processes.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Â

What you’ll do:
- Lead and oversee pricing, procurement, and logistics activities of inter-unit purchases across all projects and product lines.
- Support Technical Sales to coordinate and submit material and electrical takeoffs, inter-unit quotations, bills of material, and submittal packages.
- Own pricing strategy and negotiations with product lines to ensure competitiveness, cost control, and margin protection.
- Develop and manage product line-level relationships, including sourcing strategy, performance management, and risk mitigation for critical materials.
- Provide leadership in the creation, tracking, and expediting of inter-unit orders to support production and project schedules.
- Direct the tracking, receiving, documentation, and reporting (including volume and spend) of all inter-unit orders.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of equipment trackers, replacement part status, delivery schedules, and parity with internal system reports.
- Serve as the escalation point for equipment delivery, quality, shortage, or transportation issues.
- Ensure proper inter-unit workflow to facilitate timely resolution of warranty/quality issues as they arise.
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Production, and Warehouse teams to align material and equipment flow with project needs.
- Represent inter-unit supply chain objectives in product-line meetings, internal reviews, and leadership discussions.
Qualifications:
Basic (required) Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, estimating, or project-based operations.
- Three (3) years of experience negotiating pricing and terms with vendors and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, MRP/ERP systems, and material planning.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems; ERP/MRP experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism due to access to confidential pricing, customer, and vendor information.
