Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Assistant for our Fibrebond team based at our manufacturing campus in Minden, LA.
The Quality Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Quality team, with a focus on maintaining quality records, supporting ISO 9001 compliance, and assisting with audits, documentation, and reporting. This role ensures quality systems and documentation are accurate, organized, and up to date.
Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. The expected annual salary range for this role is $47,000 - $69,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Â
What you’ll do:
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards
- Support internal audits, track findings, and assistant corrective action follow-up
- Maintain and control quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and records
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and procedures across manufacturing operations
- Track and report quality metrics (daily and weekly NC reporting), QA summary reporting, KPIs, and audit results
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and documentation
- Maintain quality records (CAR logs, calibration, material certs)
- Support tool calibration with vendors
- Assist with quality issues, call-back tickets, and closures
- Use systems (Epicor, Excel, Word, Access) to manage data. Â Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, including document formatting, data entry, and basic spreadsheet functions.
- Provide administrative support to Quality and Testing teams
- Support corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, A3, and Lean methodologies
- Serve as a liaison for customer quality concerns and drive timely resolution
- Ensure proper document control, revision tracking, and record retention
- Partner with departments to ensure compliance with quality processes and procedures
- Assist with scheduling, printing, assembling, scanning, and maintaining the following Quality functions:
- Quality Travelers and Traveler system
- 3rd Party inspections, labels, insignias, state decals, and data plates
- 3rd Party and State Inspection monthly reporting
Qualifications:
Basic (required) Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- One or more years of experience in administrative functions, quality assurance, manufacturing support, or similar functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Minden, LA facility (75-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949).
- Experience or familiarity with supporting ISO audits (internal or external).
- Knowledge of document control systems and QMS processes.
- Familiarity with CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality tools (5 Why, etc.).
- Experience or exposure with audits, quality systems, or process improvement initiatives.
Additional Information:
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive material‑handling tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel‑toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets and proprietary information.
