Summary
Aspen Surgical is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support our Operations organization. This role partners closely with site and Operations leadership to deliver advanced financial analysis, performance measurement, and decision support. The Senior Analyst provides expertise in manufacturing finance, inventory costing, forecasting and budgeting while driving process improvements, supporting strategic initiatives, and assisting with implementation of site to a new ERP system.
In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To
- Lead financial analysis of site manufacturing performance, including material cost variances, labor productivity, and overhead spending. Provide insights and recommendations for Operations leadership.
- Develop and maintain accurate material, labor and overhead costing.
- Establish and update annual standards costs; perform variance analysis (PPV, Labor, Overhead Absorption)
- Partner with Operations to understand drivers of cost variances and identify improvement opportunities
- Lead the site annual operating budget and quarterly forecast process in collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Analyze performance against budget and forecast providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Own and support month end activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and present monthly financial packages including P/L analysis, variance explanations and key metrics.
- Serve as trusted finance partner to Operations and Supply Chain leadership
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Provide support for tracking and reporting of cost reduction programs.
- Provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions and influence operational decisions.
- Serve as the key liaison between plant operations and corporate finance
- Support operational initiatives through data driven insights and financial modeling
- Support the ERP implementation of IFS
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5-10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of costing, financial planning, forecasting, operational analysis, manufacturing P/L
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Planful) a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross functional partners
