Systems Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
- Serve as a liaison between functional business teams and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Gather, document, and maintain system specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.
- Configure, test, and support enterprise applications and integrations.
- Support implementation of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution.
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security compliance.
- Support reporting, dashboards, and data requests as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants on system support and projects.
- Provide end‑user training and create user documentation when required.
- Participate in IT projects, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Systems Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, PowerBI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or C# is a plus, especially for building APIs and working with JSON.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and its integration capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with statistical software and methodologies.
- Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Work Environment:
- The candidate may be In-Office, Hybrid, or Remote. The position may require occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
