Systems Analyst Position Overview: 
The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting business and technology systems across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and third‑party vendors to ensure systems are effective, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.


Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
  • Serve as a liaison between functional business teams and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Gather, document, and maintain system specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.
  • Configure, test, and support enterprise applications and integrations.
  • Support implementation of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution.
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security compliance.
  • Support reporting, dashboards, and data requests as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants on system support and projects.
  • Provide end‑user training and create user documentation when required.
  • Participate in IT projects, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Systems Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, PowerBI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or C# is a plus, especially for building APIs and working with JSON.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and its integration capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with statistical software and methodologies.
  • Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Work Environment:

  • The candidate may be In-Office, Hybrid, or Remote. The position may require occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
