We are looking for a talented Quality Technician (Romer) – 1st Shift to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensuring Product Quality: By verifying the final quality of products on the production line, you will ensure that only products meeting technical specifications are delivered.
Identifying Defects: Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify and address defects.
Using Measurement Techniques: Utilize both basic and complex measurement techniques and equipment to separate products that do not meet the desired technical specifications.
Documenting Non-Conforming Products: Accurately document products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems, ensuring traceability and accountability.
Training Others: Train colleagues in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming products, and proper documentation, enhancing overall team competency.
Adhering to Quality Standards: Follow the company's defined norms and standards of quality, ensuring consistency and reliability in product quality.
Supporting Continuous Improvement: Work under moderate supervision to continuously improve processes and practices, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production line.
Enhancing Team Performance: By ensuring products meet technical specifications and training others, you will help maintain high standards and improve the overall performance of the team.
