Plant Manager - Essex Industries

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually

Hours Available: Monday-Friday [7:30am-4:00pm] | Saturday-Sunday [OFF], Flexibility Required.

Location: Mineville, NY (Occasional travel to other areas.)

This position is being offered in Mineville, NY with a Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm schedule that requires some flexibility.

What you get to do:

Oversee the daily operations of a successful manufacturing business while also creating meaningful opportunities for people of varying abilities to work, contribute, learn and grow.

Build relationships with existing customers and dealers, respond to new inquiries, understand what customers need, and help turn opportunities into orders and long-term relationships.

Guide the day-to-day operations of Essex Industries, set priorities, keep production moving, and make sure customers receive quality products on time.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be a substitute for formal education.

Experience: Experience in manufacturing, production, woodworking, assembly, or a related operational environment. Prior supervisory or leadership experience required. Experience coordinating production, workflow, inventory, quality, equipment, or similar operational responsibilities required. Experience working directly with customers, vendors, sales, estimating, or business development is preferred. Experience with woodworking equipment and manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
