Job Responsibilities
The individual for this role needs to be able to look at a problem, ask the right questions to understand the factors driving cost, and make fact based recommendations as to how to proceed. This is a challenging and dynamic position, so the ability to follow through is critical. The individual needs to be hands on, ready to do the legwork from start to finish themselves, while operating in a team environment.
Build tools to keep cost models up to date and empower our salesforce with information and pricing.
Provide input to procurement and manufacturing.
Conduct targeted analysis on what the company is paying, identify alternatives, and make recommendations on moving forward.
Must work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and production.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has analytical experience, is detail oriented, is able to check his or her own work, and is excited by the opportunities for the continued development the role provides. This is a terrific, dynamic position suited for an ambitious and driven individual.
Bachelors degree in Accounting
4+ Years Cost Accounting/Analyst experience
Advanced Excel Skills
Large ERP System Experience
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
