Job Summary:聽This is a direct labor role within the designated assembly supporting all aspects. A fast-paced, quality oriented and team-focused employee is needed due to the dynamic environment of these work areas.聽

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assembler聽- Level 1(Entry Level)聽

  • Utilize all聽the necessary tools to ensure quality parts are聽manufactured to customer聽expectations.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the immediate work area(s) and surrounding聽areas.
  • Efficiently assemble聽sheet metal聽components聽using provided hand tools,聽pneumatic聽tools聽and diagrams.
    • Work well as a positive team member in a fast paced and dynamic work聽environment.
  • An ability to effectively communicate within a team environment聽and train others as needed.
  • Detail orientation, eye and hand coordination, mechanical ability,聽
  • Ability to聽read聽blueprints聽and work instructions.
  • Must be able to work from job ticket, standard work documents,聽manuals聽or verbal instructions.聽
  • Keep聽the work area in a clean and orderly condition, following industry and Dalsin best practices.
  • Basic math skills, Add,聽subtract, multiply, divide
  • Notify the manager of concerns when help is needed.
  • Use the appropriate tools and equipment necessary to perform the job, including inspection equipment.
  • Collaborates to identify and implement ways to improve overall performance within area of responsibility using continuous improvement methods.
  • Execute and support approved opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and overall effectiveness.
  • Utilize the ERP system applicable for your specific role.
  • Other聽duties聽are assigned inside and outside the primary聽department.
  • Act as a positive role model.

Assembler-Level 2聽

  • Competent in聽all Level I essential duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to聽locate, track, and move items in the ERP system.
  • Effective performance requires a deep working knowledge of jobs and workflow in your assigned department.
  • Detail orientation, electrical/wiring聽ability.
  • Ability聽to detect colors聽consistent with electrical聽wiring.
  • Ability to meet quality and productivity requirements of complex聽sealing and caulking.
  • Fork-lift certified.

Assembler-Level 3聽

  • Competent in all Level I聽and聽2聽essential duties and responsibilities
  • Accurately聽route, land, fasten and secure electrical connections using pre-terminated wires per standard work documentation, schematics, and best practices.
  • Performance test product using electrical/electronic test equipment and software.
  • Move freely to any workstation within the environment to maximize production flow and overall efficiency.
  • Detail orientation, eye and hand coordination, electrical/wiring ability,聽and ability to follow specific testing and documentation procedures including product tracking and serialization.
  • Ability to read wiring schematics.
  • Computer to聽Test production units.
  • Observes opportunities to improve聽safety, quality, delivery, cost and can effectively聽try/communicate聽these opportunities.

Primary聽Equipment List

  • Hand tools including聽but not limited to聽torque wrench, screwdrivers, awl, wrenches,聽wire crimpers, cutters, strippers.
  • Pneumatic tools including caulk gun聽and pop riveter
  • Hoists and other聽lift equipment
  • Packaging Bander
  • Computer to document production units as well as聽job/payroll clocking.
