Job Summary

Cut, shape, and install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings
Work with fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Accurately determine and identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
Evaluate customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and problem-solve to find solutions
Provide basic construction skills for residents and businesses in the Twin Cities
Bid work and produce it with great satisfaction
Effectively communicate with clients and office support
Complete a variety of repairs and replacements to windows, doors, siding, finish trim, flooring, framing, decking, and more

Job Requirements

Competency in general building trades
Must carry liability insurance
Ability to complete projects from start to finish independently
Must have current driver's license
Must have tools, work vehicle, and good references
Must pass screening process which includes a background check
Must have a smart phone and access to the internet
