As an Application Engineer (I or II) at Turck, you'll be at the forefront of industrial automation technology. You'll provide crucial technical support to our representatives, distributors, and customers, helping them select, install, commission, troubleshoot, and program Turck's cutting-edge products and solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert technical assistance via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Develop innovative solutions to complex industrial automation challenges
- Match competitor products with Turck equivalents and find alternatives for out-of-stock items
- Conduct feasibility tests and research for proposed Turck solutions
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting Turck products
- Continuously expand your knowledge of Turck's product line and industry trends
- Identify and submit sales leads from customer interactions
- Document and report any product errors or bugs
- Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects
- Provide training to internal and external stakeholders
- Handle complex cases beyond the scope of first-level application engineers
What You'll Bring
App Engineer I:Â
- 4-year technical college degree OR
- 2-year technical degree with 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in technical writing (preferred)
- Passion for learning and staying current with industrial automation technology
App Engineer II:
- 4-year technical college degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR
- 2-year technical degree with 4+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in technical writing (preferred)
- Passion for learning and staying current with industrial automation technology
