We have an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will oversee and maintain Credit / Collection operations for accounts in order to increase sales volume, maximize cash flow, contribute to the profit and stability of Pentair, Inc., provide for prompt turnover and adequate protection of Pentair’s investment in Accounts Receivable, while maintaining the highest level of Customer Satisfaction.  

This is a salaried position and requires an individual to be onsite 3 days a week in Golden Valley, MN.

You will:

  • Perform Completion of Credit Investigations with an emphasis on Financial Statement Analysis to recommend or establish Credit Lines and approve payment terms for new and existing accounts.
  • Full account reviews (re-checks) to maintain maximum Credit Lines on assigned account basis and assist Credit Manager in the Credit Line Review Process for all accounts. Work with Sales to determine Credit Line needs for all customers.
  • Monitor assigned account base frequently throughout the day to review orders for credit release.
  • Timely collections and reconciliation of A/R for assigned portfolio. Interface with internal and external customers to resolve any deduction related issues & improve process to prevent re occurrence.
  • Report on Cash Commitments on a regular basis
  • Account Reconciliation- Purge (off-set) credits vs. appropriate deductions.
  • Maintain Industry Contacts to stay abreast of changes in Financial Condition for members of accountancy base.

Key Qualifications: 

  • Have earned an associate’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business required, BS preferred.
  • Experience in Credit, Collections and Dispute Resolution- Customer Service.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • SAP/ERP system experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
