About you

As a social worker within the MASH team, you will work to ensure the children and young people are kept at the heart of assessments and decision making.  You will work in partnership with other agencies (health, education, police, voluntary sector etc.) to ensure families receive coordinated and appropriate support in relation to their assessed needs.

You will need a clear understanding of the principle and function of a Front Door / Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub and evidence of the ability to determine positive outcomes for children and young people, within tight timescales. 
 

The ideal applicant will have had a good foundation of working as a frontline social worker. To be successful for the post we also need you to have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Ideally experience within a MASH team
  • a recognised qualification in Social Work
  • to have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
  • a full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • DBS clearance
